            Your privacy is important to us. Oasify is designed with a privacy-first approach. All your plant care data stays on your device.
        

1. Introduction

Oasify ("the App") is a plant care application developed by Eduard Koblyk ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

2. On-Device Data

            Oasify stores all data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.
        

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

Plant type — the plant you selected during setup
Watering schedule — your preferred watering interval and reminder time
Watering history — timestamps of when you watered your plant
App preferences — visual style settings and notification preferences

This data is stored using iOS UserDefaults and App Group shared storage to enable widget functionality. It never leaves your device.

3. No Data Collection

Oasify does not collect any of the following:

Personal information (name, email, phone number)
Location data
Analytics or usage data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Photos, camera, or microphone data

We do not use any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking technologies.

4. Third-Party Services

Oasify does not integrate with any third-party services. There are no SDKs, analytics tools, or external APIs embedded in the App.

5. Widget Data

Oasify includes an iOS Home Screen widget that displays your plant's water level and allows quick watering. The widget accesses the same locally-stored data through Apple's App Group mechanism. No data is transmitted externally for widget functionality.

6. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Oasify schedules local push notifications on your device to remind you to water your plant. These notifications are managed entirely by iOS and do not involve any external push notification services.

7. Data Retention

Your data is stored on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can delete all data at any time using the "Reset & Choose New Plant" option in the App's Settings. Uninstalling the App will also remove all stored data.

8. Children's Privacy

Oasify is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information, the App is compliant with children's privacy regulations including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).

9. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it, you have full control over your information. You can:

View your data within the App
Delete all data using the reset feature in Settings
Remove all data by uninstalling the App

10. Data Security

Your data is protected by iOS's built-in security mechanisms, including device encryption and App sandboxing. Since no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of data interception during transmission.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
